“We’re monitoring the situation carefully and are following official guidance from Public Health England.

“We’re in regular contact with all tenants and our cleaning teams are working proactively for the benefit of employees and visitors by deep cleaning surfaces on a regular basis.

“All customers are advised to continue regularly washing their hands during their visit and to use hand sanitiser where that isn’t possible.’’

A case of the virus was officially confirmed yesterday in the North East Derbyshire/Bolsover area.

Health officials believe there could be up to 10,000 people infected with the virus in the UK.
