WE want your pictures.
With the massive increase in the number of people not only using mobile phones to take pictures but also with digital cameras, people are taking photos all the time.

Now we want our readers to become part of our news gathering team by sending us p
hotographs – it could be a newsworthy event you see, or could be something quirky or funny.

It may be a strange sign, a lovely picture or a picture of you or your family or mates celebrating something.

And we will be awarding a monthly £5 prize for the best picture that we receive from YOUR - our readers.

Just send your photos by email to:editorial@derbyshiretimes.co.uk or via MMS.To do this text DTPIC (leave a space) any other details and your name (maximum 160 characters) and attach the photograph via MMS and send to 07843 500911.

Charges are 50p for the MMS and your normal network rates.
