Students across north Derbyshire are celebrating after receiving a bumper number of A-levels this year.
Students across north Derbyshire are celebrating after receiving a bumper number of A-levels this year.

Delighted headteachers have been singing the praises of their hard working students, who are now preparing for university life.

Nationally, 25.3pc of entries were graded A, up from 24.1pc last year.

The national pass rate rose for the 25th year in a row, with 96.9pc graded A to E, up from 96.6pc last year.
