CHESTERFIELD 5 DARLINGTON 2

Chesterfield continued their impressive form in the Coca Cola League Two with this win over Darlington at Saltergate on Saturday.

Victory keeps them in fifth place - just three points behind league leaders Bournemouth.

Rob Page gave them the lead in the 37th minute and Mark Allott made it 2-0 with a strike in first half stoppage time.

The visitors reduced the arreas in the 59th minute through Collins, but Kieran Djalali restored the Spireites two goal advantage with a strike on 67.

Darlington were not giving up without a fight and Hogg pulled a goal back after 87 minutes.

Two goals from Scott Boden in the dying minutes of the game, however, ensured that John Sheridan's side picked up all three points.

Attendance: 3,460.
