CHESTERFIELD 2 LINCOLN CITY 1

Chesterfield made hard work of this victory in the Coca Cola League Two at Saltergate on Saturday.

But victory moved Spireites into seventh place in the table and among the play-off contenders again.

Chesterfield took the lead in the 19th minute with a 25-yard goal from Dominic Green and increased it in the 50th minute through Barry Conlon.

But strugglers Lincoln came back into the game with a Swaibu goal in the 65th minute and Chesterfield then had to defend to keep their advantage.

Attendance: 3,573.
