The match against Rotherham has been moved from its original 3pm slot and will now kick off an hour earlier at 2pm.

And Chesterfield's first round Carling Cup match against Championship outfit Scunthorpe United will be played at Glanford Park on Tuesday, August 11, kick-off 7.45pm.

Meanwhile, Chesterfield FC's official travel club, True Blue Travel, has already started taking bookings for the new season.

Only members of the club can travel and supporters are asked to book early to guarantee a seat.

Bookings for the first league game of the season at Torquay United are now being accepted.

Coaches leave for Devon from Cross Street 7.30am. The cost is £23 per person.

Coach travel this season is being provided by Slacks of Matlock.

Derby County are in town on Saturday to contest the Derbyshire FA Centenary Cup on Saturday, July 18.

Adult admission to the kop will be £10, while admission to the Compton Street stand, centre stand and wing stand will be £12 for adults.

Sheffield United play at Saltergate on Wednesday, July 22, while newly-promoted Leicester City are the visitors on Tuesday, July 28. Both games kick off at 7.45pm.

Season ticket holders will be able to redeem their special money-off voucher for one of the home pre-season friendlies when purchasing a ticket in advance.
