Lester bags goal number 25 for Spireites

CHESTERFIELD 1 NOTTS COUNTY 1

Jack Lester struck to earn Chesterfield a point in this last game of the 2007-08 season.

It was the striker's 25th league goal of the season.

Lester found the net in the 59th minute - shooting past the County keeper from a ball over the top from Peter Leven.

The visitor's had taken the lead just before half-time with a goal from Spencer Weir-Daley.

Chesterfield finished eighth in the final table with 69 points from 46 games.

Attendance: 4,477.
