Chesterfield FC is heralding the dawning of a new era for the football club with the appointment of its first ever conference and banqueting manager.

Local man Gary Cook, who has 20 years experience in the hotel and catering industry, is to develop and manage the new 'state of the art' conference and banqueting venue at the b2net stadium, which is currently being built at Whittington Moor, Chesterfield.

Gary said:""It gives me great pleasure as a Chesterfield supporter for over three decades to be involved with the club on a professional basis at such an exciting and challenging time.

"The b2net stadium is ideally located in the middle of the country with easy access from the M1 motorway, two mainline railway stations, and with three international airports barely an hour away."

Bookings are now being taken from Summer 2010 onwards. For more information contact Gary Cook on 07980 939 889 or email garycook@chesterfield-fc.co.uk
