MORECAMBE 1 CHESTERFIELD 1

Chesterfield were denied the win in this game by a great display from home keeper Scott Davies.

He pulled off some great saves to stop Lee Richardson's side from taking all three points from this crucial game in the countdown to the end of the season.

The draw leaves Chesterfield still two points behind Wycombe Wanderers in the table.

Wycombe, who have a game in hand over the Spireites, were denied a shock win at Coca Cola League Two league leaders MK Dons by a last minute goal from O'Hanlon in a 2-2 draw.

Steve Fletcher gave Chesterfield the lead on Saturday with a 35th minute right foot shot.

But Morecamble levelled things 16 minutes from time with a goal from Matty Blinhorn.

Chesterfield: Roche, Picken, Hawkins, Downes, Hartley (Kerry 68), Lowry, Niven, Ward, Dowson (Cooper 85), Fletcher (Dyer 78).

Attendance: 2,531.
