Two former Chesterfield FC favourites have joined forces and tasted cup success.
John Duncan was Blues manager for the second time in the 1990s and Tom Curtis was a midfield dynamo when the good times rolled.

Duncan chartered the Spireites to a Division Three play-off final success in the 1994/95 and Curtis played a full part in the 2-0 victory over Bury in the Wembley sunshine.

Two years later the duo formed part of the team that stormed to the FA Cup semi-final and won global plaudits after taking Premiership side Middlesbrough to a replay following a thrilling 3-3 draw at Old Trafford.

Cutris is now head football coach at his alta mater Loughborough University, while Duncan is manager of the university's non-league football side which joined the Midland Combination Premier Division at the start of last season.

The students battled their way to the final of the Endsleigh Challenge Cup and they held their nerve to beat Cadbury 2-0.

Duncan also guided the team to a fourth-placed finish in the league table.
