Chesterfield FC has honoured its pledge to season ticket holders by pegging season ticket prices for 2008-09 at the same level as this season.
The price freeze, which is valid for all season tickets bought by May 31 means season tickets will be on sale at the same level as last year's discounted rate.

Although there will then be a small increase after that date it will still be possible to make savings up to June 28 deadline by purchasing a season ticket at an early-bird discount rate before they go on sale at full price.

Blues chairman Barrie Hubbard said: "The season ticket prices for adults have remained constant for the last four seasons although our costs, like most households, have increased considerably over this time. Despite that we are keeping the promise we made to our season ticket holders."

There will be a small increase in match-day prices.

The club has also confirmed that it is still the intention that existing season ticket holders will have priority in selecting their seats in the proposed new stadium.

Season tickets are due to go on sale from Monday, April 28.
