Save our young people’s groups

LEADERS of young people’s groups in a mid-Derbyshire village are appealing for adults to come forward to keep the organisations afloat.

There is a waiting list of children keen to join Scouts and Cubs in Tibshelf but the groups are under threat because of a lack of adult volunteers.

Chiefs are keen to support anybody willing to give it a go and will offer free training.

There is no monetary reward but there is the personal satisfaction of seeing young people flourish and benefit from new skills and experiences.

If you have a few hours to spare and would like to see Cubs and Scouts continue in the village, contact Julie Lovatt on 07933 261152 or by email: ian-julie@beccalcon.plus.com
