Samaritans given a helping hand

THE POWDERKEGS border morris dancing side have donated £330 to the Buxton and High Peak Samaritans.

At the end of each year the team nominate a local charity to donate any surplus funds that they make during the year, with the Buxton and High Peak Samaritans being their nominated charity for last year.

The Powderkegs are based in Whaley Bridge and danced at the town’s Christmas lights switch-on.
