Open day at adults’ education centre

An open day with the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) at Hurst House is coming up on Monday, July 23, 11am – 3pm, and everyone is welcome to drop by.

You can rummage through the book stall, drool over the cake stall, have a go at some fun activities, browse the displays, watch a demonstration, take part in a ‘taster’ or chat to a tutor, enjoying some well-earned refreshments on the way. And some prizes too.

A great opportunity to look around the centre and there’ll be information available about all the courses for adults that the centre has on offer in September – and plenty of people about to answer your questions.

The centre provides on-site childcare for some of thecourses, so why not come along to see what’s on offer – and bring a snack and teddy with your little one and take part in the lunchtime teddy bears picnic on the lawn.
