Thanks for help in snow
I just wanted to praise the young men who helped me on St Augustines Road (off Derby Road) on a Saturday night when the snow started to cause problems!
I was on my way to work at Walton hospital at about 8.15pm and my car wouldn’t get up the hill.
A young man was doing his best to help and summoned three men in a 4x4 to ask if they could tow me, which they did. When the tow rope snapped one of the men offered to drive me into work in my car.
It was very kind of them and so nice to experience first hand that there is still some good community spirit.
So I think it would be nice to hear other people’s ‘help’ stories if anyone else got into a spot of bother during the bad weather.
