I am seeking information on two Riddings musicians in preparation for a new book.

I lived for 45 years in Alfreton and now work in Tomsk, Siberia, and am appealing for music by Caleb Martin and Ernest Bettison, who both lived in Riddings.

I am also appealing for information about Ernest Bettison, who was organist and choirmaster at Riddings Church during the first half of the last century.

It’s not known if Bettison composed music.
