Don’t shoot the badgers
THE greatest gift any human being can process is the gift of compassion.
The proposed shooting of badgers is cruel, unnecessary and will not eradicate disease in cattle.
There are no foxes or badgers in New Zealand and cattle still get infected with TB. It is most likely that the cattle are giving the badgers TB. There is already too much violence in this world without politicians and farmers adding further misery. A Tory MP stated last year that we are a Christian country, isn’t it about time we acted as if we were?
‘The abuse of anything is a sin that will not go unpunished’, states the Holy Bible. Thank god if you are compassionate.
