HEATH AND HOLMEWOOD: Candles lit in memory of late congregation member

Epiphany

The first services of 2013 were celebrated in both St Albans and All Saints on what was the feast of the Epiphany. Candles were lit and a moment of silence kept in memory of Edna Cooper, a long standing member of the congregation who has passed away.

The Christmas decorations have been removed but the Christmas crib will remain until the beginning of February as a reminder that the festival of Christmas is observed in the church for a full 40 days.
