BRAMPTON: Old Road pancake races flipping good fun

Brampton

The Old Road pancake races, held traditionally on Shrove Tuesday, were a great success.

The competitors were split into three age groups and the races took place on a dry evening in the drive leading up to The Gospel Mission Church near Serpent Motors.

After the racing, everyone involved was treated to a pancake inside the church and prizes were presented to the winners in each section. The evening ended with a Shrovetide quiz.

Thanks have been expressed to everyone involved.
