Fundraisers in a north Derbyshire branch of the WI have helped to raise money for a charity which provides services to children with learning, physical and sensory difficulties and their families.

Barlow WI’s efforts throughout 2012 resulted in cheques for £500 being presented by the branch president Joan Rowland to Heather Fawbert, chief executive of Fairplay.
Heather explained that the money would be used to buy specially adapted garden furniture.
