A record-breaking strongman helped drive home an anti-bullying message to pupils.
Birmingham-born 'Big Dave' (Dave Gauder) travels the country with his anti-bullying message, after being bullied himself at school.

To gain the children's attention, he starts his visit by pulling a bus and then talks to the youngsters about the effects bullying can have on others.

Chief Insp Graham McLaughlin, who covers Amber Valley and Erewash, said: "We're very pleased to have Big Dave on board to help us tackle bullying amongst young people.

"All pupils have the right to be educated in an environment that's free from fear and intimidation. We want to make sure Derbyshire students understand that message and respect one another."

Big Dave visited schools across Derbyshire as part of his nationwide tour, including Highfields School, Matlock, Bolsover School and Heritage Mathematics and Computing Specialist School, Clowne.
