Police plea for crash witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses following a car crash which left a man with serious arm injuries.

The man was a passenger in a red MG, which was travelling on the B6042 near to Creswell Crags, when it came off the road close to the junction with the A60 Mansfield Road and ended up on its side.

The passenger sustained very serious arm injuries and was taken to Bassetlaw Hospital.

The driver of the vehicle suffered only minor injuries but Derbyshire Police are appealing for any witnesses to the accident, which happened at about 1.15pm on Sunday, October 5, to contact them on 0845 123 3333.
