Chesterfield's army careers office had to be evacuated after a woman walked in with a hand grenade.
Police also cordoned off part of West Bars following the incident after being alerted by staff just before 2pm, on Monday, July 7.

A police spokesman said a woman was clearing out her granddad's shed when she found the device - believed to date from the 1940s - and took it to the premises.

Army bomb disposal experts were called in to make sure the device was safe.
