Delighted fun-lovers turned out in force to enjoy a dazzling action-packed fundraising summer fair.
Marsh Lane Primary School, near Eckington, hosted the event in its grounds, on Friday, with stalls and activities including a bouncy castle and slide, hook-a-duck and face painting.

Headteacher Will Smith said: "Lots of parents, pupils, youngsters and residents turned out for the celebrations in lovely sunshine and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

"Our older pupils also helped out with running some of the stalls and activities."

The event helped raise about £1,500 for the school's funds and the money will be used for the benefit of the pupils' education.

Mr Smith added: "A fantastic amount was raised thanks to our fair organisers and generous contributions by everyone who came to enjoy the event."
