Crash victim airlifted to hospital

A casualty was airlifted to hospital after a two-vehicle smash on Thursday afternoon.
The collision between an LGV and a car on the A632 at Upper Langwith happened just before 3pm.

One person was trapped and had to be released from the vehicle by firefighters using hydraulic cutting gear before being flown to Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham, by air ambulance.

Two other casualties were also tended to by the ambulance service.
