Arrests in crime crackdown

Police arrested seven people as part of a three week operation to tackle burglaries in Clowne following a recent spate in the area.
Operation Hawkridge was carried out over several nights during the last three weeks with Safer Neighbourhood teams and CID patrolling hotspot areas.

The team carried out 24-hour patrols and the arrests were made for burglary and other related offences.
