Hope Primary School celebrated Easter with a short service of songs and readings in church and a day of activities in school to round off a busy term.
An Easter quiz and videos were followed by a team puzzle hunt in the school grounds and a parade of home-made hats and costumes.
Prizes were given for the best, judged by chairman of governors Mrs Margaret Peel.
A raffle was held with prizes donated by parents and friends of the school and each child received a gift of an Easter egg funded by the Friends of Hope School.
Egg games on the playground for the juniors rounded off the day.
On a sadder note, children and staff bid a fond farewell to school cook Mrs Suzanne Goodwin, who moves on to a new job next term.
