John Martin, from Old Whittington, went searching through his pictures after spotting the photograph of the Peter Webster speech day.

And he came up with these two pictures — including one of the school's swimming team which won Chesterfield Borough secondary schools gala.

Peter Webster repeated their success the following year.

John was a member of the teams and is pictured holding the shield.

He also sent in the photograph below of Form 4A, of which he was a class member, in 1955.
