North Derbyshire footballers from the 1940s pose for the camera in this team shot.
It is of the North Derbyshire Youth team which took on South Derbyshire Youth at the Ripley Town ground in 1946-47.
The team was skippered by Mick Sargerson, of Chesterfield, who scored from the penalty spot in his team's 2-1 victory.
Mick, of 6 Linton Road, Walton, is pictured third from the right on the back row. Other Chesterfield players in the team were (back row, 2nd left to 5th left): Alan Knowles, Arthur Gee, Geoff Browse and Jackie Griffiths.
